PRIVACY & YOUR DATA

Privacy Policy

How information is processed when you use Rapi.In and this website, and the choices available to you.

Last updated: Developed by Nusivo

Financial records are processed on your iPhone. No account is required, and records are not uploaded to a Rapi.In server. You choose when to save or share a copy.

About this policy

This policy covers the Rapi.In iOS app and the Rapi.In website. The developer identity and contact address are shown on this page. Rapi.In helps you keep personal financial records; it does not connect directly to bank accounts or digital wallets and does not make payments.

Information processed on your device

When you use the app, Rapi.In processes information you enter or create, including:

  • Wallet names, wallet types, balances, and display preferences.
  • Income, expenses, transfers, balance adjustments, dates, categories, payees or merchants, and transaction notes.
  • Budgets, savings goals, contributions and withdrawals, recurring transaction schedules, bills, and reminders.
  • App preferences and local metadata needed to store and manage your records.

This information is stored in the app on your iPhone and used to show balances, calculate budgets, create reports, track goals, and manage schedules you set up. Rapi.In does not upload these records to a developer-operated server. Bank and digital wallet names are record labels, rather than access to those accounts.

Accounts, advertising, and tracking

Rapi.In does not require a user account. The app does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics and does not use financial records for advertising tracking. We do not sell your financial records.

App lock and notifications

App lock is optional and uses iOS authentication, such as Face ID or your device passcode. Authentication is handled by the system; Rapi.In does not receive or store biometric data or your iPhone passcode. App lock restricts access to the app interface and is not a password for exported files or backups.

If you allow notifications, the app can schedule local bill reminders. A reminder may include schedule names and bill information you created. You can change notification permissions and notification preview settings in iPhone Settings.

Recording transactions with text

The text-entry feature processes sentences on your device using local rules and, when available and enabled, an Apple model on your iPhone. Rapi.In does not send sentences or financial context to cloud AI services. You can control model use in the app settings for recording with text. If you use iOS keyboard dictation, voice processing follows your Apple system settings and the relevant Apple service policies.

Exports, backups, and restoring data

You can export transactions as CSV or create a .rapiin backup. Exports and backups are created at your request and can be saved or shared using iOS system options. These files can contain detailed financial information; backups may also include internal records that no longer appear in the app.

Rapi.In does not password-protect CSV exports or backup files. Save them in a location you trust and share them only with recipients you choose. If you select Files, iCloud Drive, email, or another service, that provider processes the file under its own policies and settings.

Rapi.In does not provide account synchronization or backups to a developer-operated server. iOS device backups and system restore follow your iPhone settings and the Apple services you use. Restoring a .rapiin file replaces the current app data; the app makes a local safety copy before restoring.

Storage and deletion

Records remain local while they are held in app storage. Deleting an item removes it from view; some records may remain locally to support undoing changes. This is not the same as permanently removing every copy of the data.

To remove all Rapi.In app storage from your iPhone, use Delete App in iOS storage settings, rather than Offload App, which keeps app data. CSV exports, .rapiin backups, safety copies saved outside the app, and existing device backups must be managed separately where they are stored. Restoring an older backup may restore records contained in that backup.

Because the developer does not hold a server copy of your financial records, we cannot view, recover, or delete local records remotely.

When you contact support

When you email us, you provide your sender address, message, and any attachments you choose. We use this information to answer questions, investigate issues, and follow up on your request. Our email provider processes communications under its service policies.

Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle the request, related follow-up, and applicable obligations. You can request deletion of correspondence using the contact address on this page. We will explain if any information must be retained to meet an applicable obligation.

Do not send PINs, passwords, one-time codes, or financial backup files. Hide balances, account numbers, and personal information in screenshots before sharing them.

When you visit this website

This website does not set analytics cookies or advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served with the website without loading a third-party font service. Hosting and content delivery providers may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and access time, to deliver pages and maintain service security.

The processing and retention of technical information follow the hosting provider settings and policies. Following a link to the App Store, an email service, or another website takes you to a service with its own privacy policy.

Your choices and policy updates

You can manage notification permissions, app lock, on-device model use, and the files you export or share. Visit the Support page for help using these features.

This policy may be updated when features or data processing practices change. The update date appears at the top of this page. If new processing requires permission, that permission will be requested in connection with the relevant feature.
