Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account or an internet connection?

No account is required. Transactions, wallets, budgets, savings goals, and reports work locally on your iPhone. You need internet access to visit this website, send email, or use an online sharing destination you choose.

Does Rapi.In connect directly to my bank?

Rapi.In is a personal record-keeping app. You enter balances and transactions yourself. The app does not automatically read bank accounts or digital wallets, make payments, or move money. A transfer entry only records a movement of money you have made.

Which iPhone and iOS version do I need?

Rapi.In requires iOS 18 or later. Some controls adapt to the features available in your version of iOS.

How is my daily allowance calculated?

Your daily allowance uses the daily or workday budgets you set, the date you started tracking, and spending in the relevant categories. Unused amounts from earlier days can give you more room, while spending ahead can reduce it. Open Budget to see the details.

Why am I not receiving bill reminders?

Check that reminders are enabled for the bill and that Rapi.In has notification permission in iPhone Settings. Also check Focus and iOS notification delivery settings. Reminders are local notifications; Rapi.In does not pay bills for you.

How do I lock the app?

Open Settings in Rapi.In and enable app lock. Rapi.In uses available iOS authentication, such as Face ID or your device passcode. Your iPhone must have a passcode set up to use app lock.

How do I export transactions?

Open Settings → Export & backup, choose a transaction period, and tap Export CSV. If Excel opens everything in a single column, try exporting again with Semicolon as the column separator.

How do I move to another iPhone?

On your old iPhone, open Settings → Export & backup → Create backup. Save the .rapiin file somewhere you can access on your new iPhone. On the new iPhone, open the same menu and choose Restore from backup. Restoring replaces existing data with the contents of the file, so check the selected file before continuing. CSV exports contain transactions and are not full backups.

Can support recover lost financial records?

We do not hold a copy of your financial records on a Rapi.In server. Use a .rapiin backup you saved, or a device backup available through your system services. Make backups regularly, especially before replacing your iPhone or deleting the app.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual items using their management features. Deleted items no longer appear, although some records may remain locally to support undoing changes. To remove all app storage from your iPhone, use Delete App in iOS storage settings, rather than Offload App. CSV exports, .rapiin backups, and system backups must be managed separately.

How do I change the app language?

Rapi.In is available in Bahasa Indonesia and English. It follows your iPhone language, or you can choose a language specifically for Rapi.In in iOS app settings.
